I have been using Huawei Honor 5x for last couple of days. Here is my review about honor 5x. It is a midrange phone with premium look and excellent build quality. Scratch free Metal body gives the phone a robust and sturdy feel. Ideal for gaming and multimedia activities. Finger print scanner is another attraction they have incorporated with this phone. This facility provides security and one touch access to many functionalities as per our desire. Hand set comes with 5.5 Lolipop and Emotion UI 3.1. Phone would have been more exiting if they could have included USB OTG and gyroscope . Have a look at the detailed spec of honor 5X.
Hardware spec
Phone has got 64 bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of ram and 16GB internal memory. Screen is 5.5″ IPS LCD with resolution of 1080×1920-pixel and good viewing angles. 3000mAh non-removable battery give good life with this processor. This dual sim phone is compatible with one Nano and Micro sim. Noice cancellation mic enhances the call quality. Phone is Equipped with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

feature gives facility to handle the 5.5 screen in a better way. Just enable and swipe in the navigation bar to reduce the screen size. It gives good handling experience for me.

feature helps to restrict background usage of apps while the screen is off, which saves battery usage and Internet. This has really helped me. I usually achieve this feature by installing third party application like Greenify.
Networked Apps
feature provide control over Internet data usage of individual applications. The choice of mobile data or wifi for individual application lies with us. For example you can restrict mobile data usage of applications like Gaming apps, and E-commerce apps.
Time laps & Slow motion
Default camera have features to record Time-Lap videos and slow-motion videos. This is apart from the normal functionalities like brightness control, HDR, Timer, watermarking, Panorama Etc..
Fingerprint Scanner
Fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate, It helps to access many functionalities in one touch. Supports 5 profiles like screen unlock, quick call, specific application launch. Those are activated while the screen is off. In screen on condition it can be used for some other functionalities like Open notification drawer, take photos, go back to home screen, answer call, Stop alarm, recent apps etc. Quick access to voice recorder, calculator, camera and touch from the lock screen is very helpful. it can be access even the screen is locked.
In Overall Honor 5X is a value for money purchase among the mid range android phones. Honor 5x current price in India is 12999/-
