What is “Bandwidth usage” specified by hosting provider ?
Usually web hosting services are refering a term line “Unlimited banwidth,1000 GB Bandwidth and 50Gb banwidth”/month… like that. What dose this mean? Is it the whole traffic to the website if we are hosting? how is it counted? Can you simply update me or can I have read link assosiated with the same
Bandwidth is costly than hardware, So there are different plans from different hosting providers.
Html files and supported contents like images and java scripts flash etc are downloading to client computer on each time your visitors load your site. so the total bandwidth usage is depends on the traffic of your site. data usage will increase proportionally.
you can see the usage of bandwidth in cpanel itself.
