   Add new account.

   Select Facebook (XMPP) fro m the Protocal list.

   Enter login credentials and save.

   Thank you Albin . I tried the above mentioned settings , but iam getting an error message “Unable to connect” . 🙁
   Note : Iam working in an office environment through a proxy server.

   If you are using a proxy, you have to check following access too
   Most of the time organisations open only some limited ports like 80, 443, 8080 etc ..

   1, Access to url “chat.facebook.com”
   2, Access Port address: 5222

   If your Proxy is disabling Port 5222 you can use port 443. it wil be enabled on most of the proxy servers.
